Roberto`s Cafe in Puerto Vallarta

Just go in for a drink. It took a long time to bring to my table a simple Vodka Tonic and a Dove, I do not know if it was because they were on offer but they knew horrible both drinks, one wise at nothing and the other at nothing. I told the waiter and he only replied that I would talk to the bartender.

Dependable, friendly, great view.

To be honest, we haven’t had a meal here. But what a great place to sit, have 2 for 1 margaritas and watch the people stroll the Malecón! During a 2 week holiday on the 5th of December area of Puerto Vallarta, we often made this our late afternoon stop on our return round trip walk of the Malecón back to our apartment. Antonio would seat us and our waiters were very attentive. This is not a place to “walk on by”!

The food was horrible it had a bad taste I told the waiter and he didn't even care he just said sorry a walked away then there's people walking up asking for money no peace what so ever never coming back again.

Good food and good view. Before you take a deal or a special be specific as they will attempt to trick you.

The place is beautiful, however the dairy meals did badly to me and my partner, they should check the quality of the products better before delivering the food.

Sub par gelato on first visit. 2nd and 3rd visits were at 1130pm. Their times say open till 12 am. This is not true

2020 update: Still a nice place, but prices have increased since my 2017 review. The classic crepe, still a favorite, is now MX$65. Also, service seems to have declined. Finally, some menu items may not be reliably available (only two people in our group could get crepes; they ran out of batter - this was NOT a one-off event). Sadly, no free refills on coffee.2017 review (4-Stars): Waterfront casual dining. Delicious crepes and great coffee. Excellent value ( the classic crepes were MX$50. Pleasant English-speaking staff. Nice place to sit and enjoy the beach views.

A nice bar/bistro/restaurant next to naval museum. Good size outside seating area overlooking the ocean.Menu has a good variety of dishes and quality of food is quite good. Prices are a bit on a high side while happy hour drinks even it out a little.

Roberto’s is typical of many touristy areas. The food is good but not great. The service is hit or miss. There is something on the menu for everyone but it is an expensive menu. Knowing that going in (ie you make a conscious choice) then you won’t be disappointed but you won’t be wowed either.

Little variety of flavors in ice cream, not everyone tastes intense, but they are good in general.We ordered the one from Ferrero, Baileys and Galleta Oreo.You can order 1-3 balls. 👍🏽

The food was the dishes this place really sold itself.The ambience is very nice but the local traffic is very distracting from enjoying the place overall I will probably go again.

Roberto's food is good. The only downside is that the waiters will rip you off. They said there was a deal that crepes in the menu would be 3 for $40 pesos and everyone I came with thought it was a good deal. The meals came and they were very good crepes. But when our bill came they tried to charge us $385 pesos for 4 crepes and as anyone can imegine that was a huge surprise. We talked to the waiter and he said it was the correct price. After we talked to the person in charge a whole 30 minutes later our waiter seemed very menacing towards us and for a tourist area that is very inappropriate of him to do. That is the only time I felt any danger in Puerto Vallarta. For anyone looking for good crepes and a decent price I would say to just walk to one of the small stands around the malecon. Please be careful of this place. Its sad that such a good place be plagued with rude and malicious people.

It is a nice place, facing the sea, the coffee is very rich but it has a terrible service from your boss of waiters, they do not pay attention to you and they take a long time to serve you because there is little staff and even to charge they are delayed. And if you tell the head waiters still take a mockery ... That's bad ... It's a shame, because they recommended it a lot ...

Nice place to have a night coffee on the boardwalk, they have variety of ice cream, crepes, good ambient music and the service is good and the prices are accessible. If you have good company the talks are pleasant.Recommended.

Great food and awesome gelato.

The place is elegant and somewhat romantic something expensive but Descente is the place but after a few minutes the food does not taste the same nor the drinks or the crepes, they lose the taste and precen plastic the crepes. The food stopped something heavy.

The gelato here is the perfect treat to cool with while you enjoy Roberto's ocean front view and lively Vallarta Malecon steet. Plus, the staff are great, and occasionally bring out a dish of water for dogs when someone brings along their pooch.

Excellent place with good service following the protocols, they also have delicious snow.
